The primary purpose of discipleship is to grow in maturity together as followers of Christ. At Crossroads, this is sought through intentional discussion of a Scripturally-based curriculum, prayer, and mutual accountability in the context of 5-6 men or women.
This year, the women will be reading chapters of Scripture that highlight some prominent women in the Biblical narrative (i.e. Eve, Sarah, Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, Esther, etc.). Alongside these passages, we will be using a book called Through His Eyes by Jerram Barrs to shed further light on these stories and help us think through their application to our lives as women thousands of years later.
This fall the men are working through the third book in a series by SERGE called Gospel Love. The book takes spends 9 chapters unpacking the radical love that God has shown us in Christ and the ramifications of this love as it is expressed in the local church.

No matter if one has been a lifelong churchgoer, is a new Christian, or is simply curious about Christianity, there is much to learn about how the Bible and the Christian faith impact our day-to-day lives. At Crossroads, Adult Christian Education (ACE) classes help participants to explore various questions and topics that are pertinent to our lives, our work, and our relationships with God and others.
ACE classes, usually offered on Sunday mornings during the school year, utilize a variety of different methods (small and large group discussion, lecture, video, case studies, etc.) and are developed and taught by Crossroads members with interest and expertise in their topic.
Beginning January 12, 2020 we will start a series on the NT letters of 1,2,3 John.
