Our Mission and Core Values

Nourished by the Gospel, Crossroads will embrace our neighbors, engage the nations, and equip the next generation.

This is what the LORD says: "Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.

(Jeremiah 6:16)

  • Transforming Power of the Gospel

The fact that the Son of God became a man, lived a perfect life, died an atoning death for His people, was raised to life, and now rules all things, is the good news that has changed us and our world forever.

  • Gospel-centered Worship

The events of our Sunday morning worship tell the story of the gospel and the content unites us to each other and to Christians throughout history.

  • Integrated Lives – Redeemed Beliefs, Behavior, and Emotions

The Gospel transforms all areas of our lives and every sphere of our living as we live all of life under the lordship of Jesus Christ.

  • Value of People

We celebrate the value and diversity of all individuals that God is calling into fellowship with Him to form His body, the church.  We believe the Gospel can restore relationships by breaking down cultural barriers. As our own city becomes more diverse (racially, socioeconomically, age, stage of life, etc.), it is our missional responsibility to display the wonder of God’s love in uniting all peoples.  At Crossroads, we envision people from every background living their lives together in community.

  • Living in Community

Because we are created as relational beings and are called to be a part of the body of Christ, we emphasize the importance of living with and caring for one another in community.

  • Kingdom-Minded Missions: Local and Global

We want to be a part of growing God’s kingdom in our neighborhoods, communities, and throughout the world. Being a part of God’s mission means being outward faced. Through our service, outreach, and relationships, we long to see goodness and justice prevail in the community around us, in our nation, and to the entire world.
