Special Offering for Haiti
Haiti Disaster Relief
What can Crossroads do to help? First and foremost, we need to be continually praying for the country of Haiti, its people, and those who are assisting in the relief work. But we can also help financially. One columnist from the NY Times wrote that what happened in Haiti was not a "natural disaster story" as it was a "poverty story." The financial assistance needed in Haiti is an understatement. As the body of Christ, we are called to help the hurting, grieving and broken. We will have an opportunity to do that this Sunday. In addition to your usual tithes and givings, we will have envelopes prepared for your use to give towards the Haiti relief. We encourage you to use this time to prepare and give a special offering this Sunday.
